UE’s Orin Katakutan even had the mental anomaly to score in his own basket when he putback Janjan Felisilder’s missed free throw to give the Bulldogs a 59-30 lead in the third quarter before Sean Eldefenso’s Split Free Throw 2 increased their lead by 30 points. In 41.

The Bulldogs are currently in fourth place after finishing the first round with a back-to-back win for an improved 4-3 record.
“It simply came to our notice then. We will take this momentum to the second round. But we have to be prepared because our games will be more difficult in the next round, “said NU head coach Jeff Napa. “Great confidence for our team because we made the most of this opportunity for 16 players to gain real basketball experience before going to the second round.”
