Rallying with the 54th Hole Birdie to force the playoffs, Chanel Avaricio scored a routine equalizer in his second trip on Friday 18th, defeating Princess Supral in a sudden death and winning the ICTSI Hello Ridge Ladies Challenge crown.
After closing with a one-under-par 71 to catch Supral at level 216 after regulation, Avaricio reached 18 in par-5 before missing a nine-footer for Supral before three and two-putts.
It was the second pro win for the former Alabama State University standout and forced Supral to finish second for the second time in three weeks. Amateur Ryan Malixio defeated Pucca Suparal in a shot at the Luisita stop that resumed the women’s tour.
“My little game helped me a lot,” Avaricio, who called Hello Ridge home, later said. “I know the course well but every time the game here is challenging.”
Supral, who started the day three shots ahead, skidded in the last 74 তাঁর his worst round of the week পড়ে fell into a playoff.
Hermione Constantino and Chihiro Ikeda also made 74 seconds and finished seven shots out of motion.
