Carlos felt great playing in front of an overwhelmed crowd and he hated his 26-point blast to his teammates.

“I feel good! Our mindset and restraint have really helped us today. I just have to be consistent and believe in Coach Sherwin’s (Menesis) game plan. You can see that it worked for us,” Carlos said.

“I can’t do this (my performance) without the help of my teammates. If not for middle blockers (Celine Domingo and Jeanette Panaga), I wouldn’t get a single blocker. If Zia (De Guzman) is not eaten, I will not convert those good attacks. I think it’s a concerted effort, “he added.

The star-studded hitter is happy that the league has decided to bring its games to the Mall of Asia Arena starting from Game 2 on Sunday to have more spectators.

“I am very excited for the fans because many of them could not do that in today’s game. We’re really excited to see them all again, “said Carlos.
