Tony Bishop Jr. led the way with 31 points and 12 rebounds when Aaron Black spikeed six of his 24 points on a career night, but dropped out when the Bolts needed him most.
Jean Kings dropped a nearly 20-point cushion, but Brownlee’s steady stretch shows, in front of a crowd of 12,248 people paused by a two-handed slam in Final 1:22 to control their loved ones.
The victory not only allowed three-time winners of the last four editions of this season-ending conference, Genebra, to finally enter the winner’s column of this final, but also gave Jean-Kings a possible Aguilar return due to the extension. The duration of this series is due to the break of the holy week.
Game 3 will also be played this Sunday, 6:30 pm, at this Bayside Venue.
