The news is a positive sign for Snowfall and Bairam, who seem to be close to returning to the game for the first time since January 10.
The fourth-overall pick of 2019 has suffered multiple head injuries in the last two seasons.
In 2021-22, his rookie year, Byram played only 19 games because signs of a serious injury kept him in and out of the lineup. While in conjunction protocol, Byram also contracted Covid-19, exacerbating his symptoms – including dizziness.
The 20-year-old started the season in great form, and has so far scored five goals and six assists in 18 games, but suffered another injury in November that kept him out of the lineup for the rest of 2021. Duration of the game
Bairam then returned to the lineup for five games on January 1, before taking a personal leave of absence from Avalanche as he continued to deal with signs of a chronic injury.
